What you need to know before purchasing a course

Course Details

Each course is unique.  However each course will adhere to the following general rules:

  • A maximum capacity for participants and children

  • Participants can book onto a course, which is not full, up to 11.59 p.m. the night before the first class.

  • No course will allow hot drinks on site

  • There will not be boiled water available

  • Participants will be expected to inform tutors of any medical condition or allergies that affect either themselves or their children at the time of booking.

  • All venues will have carried out a health and safety risk assessment and the tutor and child care practitioner will take participants through this at the start of class.

  • The child care practitioner will not be responsible for any child at any point during a class.  They are available to help participants and will not be unsupervised with any child.

  • Any child brought to the class is the responsibility of the parent and guardian at all times.

  • Refunds will be paid to participants if a tutor cancels and an alternative lesson can not be arranged in a reasonable timescale.  Refund will be to the value of the number of classes cancelled, less administration fees.

  • Refunds will not be paid to students who are unable to attend a class for any reason.

  • If a participant cancels up to 2 weeks before the start of a course a full refund will be issued.  Cancelations made within the 2 week period up to the start of a course will be discussed with BaB Courses.

  • In the event of a cancelled class, we will endeavour to contact participants using text.  Tutors are expected to notify participants as early as possible.  The latest we may need to cancel is 20 minutes before the start of the class. A rescheduled class will be agreed with the tutor and BaB Courses - please note an alternative venue maybe needed.  BaB Courses will inform participants a minimum of 5 days before the rescheduled class.

  • In the event of a course in its entirety being cancelled, a similar course will be offered.  This may start in the following 6 week operational period (i.e. next half term).  If the participant does not wish to take up this offer then a full refund will be offered.

  • Unexpected events.  In the unlikely event of unpreventable and unseen cause for the class to be cancelled, all attempts will be made to reschedule and the procedure to follow is as noted above.

  • Courses must be paid in full at time of booking.

  • Booking is secured when payment has been received.  Conformation will be sent via email.

  • Will be managed via the contact form on the website.
