Did you learn an instrument when you were at school? Have you still got it hiding in the cupboard? Still think about it from time to time?

The Reconnecting with Music class is especially designed for adults who have a basic knowledge of their instrument but haven’t picked it up for a while, maybe even a decade or two....

As a BaB Course you need to Bring A Baby. We have two classes available.  9.30 a.m. for toddlers and up and 11.30 a.m. for adults with babies and crawlers.  The course is designed for you, but accommodates your children.

Anything from around grade 1 standard upwards is able to join in. We will explore the different aspects of music and performance.

The course will end with a group performance which you can invite available friends and family to.

Kathryn Stagg is teaching the class.  A woodwind teacher with 20 years teaching experience she has run many different ensembles in her career and worked with adults and children of all standards.  She will be accompanied by an experienced childcare practitioner so that as you have an extra pair of hands available.  Both are DBS checked.

All your fellow students will have their children with them so if you need to feed them, feed them.  If you need to change them, change them.  If someone’s having a meltdown, don’t worry we’ve all been there.  Our qualified Nursery Nurse is there to help but its not child care.  You’re child will be with you the whole time.
